S & W Eatery

S & W Eatery

Inspired By Taste,
Crafted By Artisans.

S&W Artisanal Eatery is the new era of the historic S&W building in Asheville. A multi-faceted eatery, bar and authentic Greek market in the classic art deco beauty that has stood sentry over the intersection of Patton Avenue and Haywood Street since 1929.

A new artisanal experience by F-design

We worked close with the architecture office to develop a new brand identity for S&W which included logo, print, packaging, signage, website and interior design ideas. We played with the classic style of the S&W building, so as to give an unconventional and distinctive twist.

A B&W concept for S&W

For the packaging of S&W, we weren’t afraid of playing with the simplicity. We created an incredibly playful, yet still simple packaging concept that uses patterns, draws attention, sends a message, and makes consumers want to taste all S&W products.

Something is cooking...

The logo we came up with gave us the inspiration for all the materials. What we did was to add some creative titles and voilà! “Thank you, Lord Sandwich”! The simplicity and logo-centricity of the project matched with the rich interior detailing, creating from cool coffee cups to unique take away bags and sophisticated business cards.
