In summer 2020, the award-winning luxury lifestyle group COYA launched its new restaurant in the most vivid Greek island, Mykonos. On Thursday 18th June, COYA Mykonos officially opened its doors in the heart of the old town, in Matogiannia, to welcome and introduce guests into a world inspired by the flavors and colors of Incan heritage and Latin American culture. F-Design created an effective PR plan aiming to raise both media and consumer awareness.

Making the Headlines
To communicate the opening of COYA Mykonos in the Greek Market, we pitched our story to Tier 1 Greek Media that covered our News Release and achieved favorable press coverage. We secured a breaking story in the Greek version of the Global Media Title, Esquire creating anticipation for the arrival of COYA in Greece. We hosted in COYA Mykonos three of the most well-known food experts’ editors with credibility in Greece and offered them unique dining experiences. We offered to Greece’s No1 Food & Bev. guide, FNL Guide, an exclusive interview of COYA’s Culinary Chef, Sanjay Dwivedi. We delivered the COYA experience through native articles in Tier1 media, highlighting different story angles.
Capturing the Essence of COYA
Prior to the opening, F-Design organized a photo shooting of the restaurant for digital, print and social media purposes. The shooting outcome ranged from the colorful cocktails to the spectacular Peruvian dishes, but also to the stunning interiors with its high design dash. In cooperation with acclaimed photographer Christos Drazos we created a high-end image portfolio encapsulating the brand aesthetics for all the communication platforms, while alluring audiences to experience COYA’s international story.
