Vangelis Paterakis is a professional hotel, food photographer based in Athens, Greece that travels all over the world for his assignments. Vangelis’ main professional activity revolves around photo shoots of hotel spaces in Greece, on the mainland as well as on the islands. Some of his clients are, Hiltons Hotels, Aman Resort, Sofitel… Nonetheless, Vangelis also extends his portfolio to photo shoots of Food and Travel. In his own words: “I travel a lot. I have to. I don't complain, I meet new faces and new places all the time. I'm a Hotel Photographer. Most of the time. Actually, this is what I do best.”

For his website, we needed to create a responsive website that follows the trends in technology and web design and is as stunning as his photos. We got inspired from his first personal photograph exhibition entitled “Shadows” with familiar images of people in motion portrayed in photographs. A dark-hued aesthetic that’s mixed with lighter, brighter and minimal text, making the photographer’s information eye-catching, yet easy to read. An online portfolio that showcases the work of Vangelis Paterakis and makes it easy for people to contact him. The web design is based on simplicity and allows his work to stand out and make it easy for visitors to navigate.
